To be in a healthy loving relationship is not so easy if you do not know what love is .
To attract healthy love the first relationship that has to be healthy is the one with yourself .Do you respect yourself ?,Do you look after yourself ?,Do you know how worthy you are ?,Do you love who you see when you look in the mirror ? If your answers to the questions are a “no” or even a “sometimes” you still have work to do .
We can not find a love that we deserve if we do not love ourselves first .It is easy to find an unhealthy relationship because we are looking for someone to fill something in our lives and through that we accept the bad behaviour ,the painful situations and yes even the abuse but when we love ourselves and raise our standards we grow inside and we reflect to the world the love we want and love that we deserve .
Unhealthy love has many highs and lows usually coming from an instant attraction ,leaving you all over the place most days .Its false and unstable and full of drama because unhealthy love ,loves drama .Its a relationship that thrives on control ,games mistrust and consent questioning about where you stand .When your in this type of relationship its hard to see what is actually going on but the more you choose you things get a lot clearer to what relationship you are part of .
Healthy love is not instant attraction ,to really fall in love takes time .It takes time to feel warm and safe and protected .Trust does not happen over night .Trust grows through actions that make you feel heard and supported .Healthy love respects and gives .There is no confusion with healthy love ,you know where you stand and you stand with peace and security .Attraction is normally the first thing that begins a relationship and the last thing we think about when we leave that particular person .It is amazing how ugly someone can become when you see what they are really about .
