A course in miracles is one of the most in dept books I have ever read .
I do not know if you have ever heard of the book or even care about the book but I decided to write about my experience of being a student and part teacher of the course .
About 8 years ago I was going through a lot of changes in my life and was working a lot with healing energy .I felt like somewhere the use of healing energy on a physical level I was pretty much on top of of my game but on a spiritual level I wanted to go deeper .I wanted to learn more about the mind and its connection to us as a spiritual beings .So I looked for a course that would take and teach me the deeper level I was seeking and just like that I came across “A course in miracles “.
I ordered the book and waited for it to arrive .
In the waiting on the book my week took an unexpected turn .I had an accident at home which ended in me cutting through my tendons and nerve in my right hand .I had to be operated on and was left with no use of my right hand / arm for 6 weeks .I couldn’t drive ,I couldn’t ride my horse ,I could hardly do anything .When your right handed you notice how weak your left hand is when you can not use the right one .
The book arrived and for the six weeks I basically ate the book .Reading each page over and over again .Highlighting the messages that stood out to me most .I think the book is a life time of learning .I will be a student forever and a teacher who will never stop learning .The principles of the course I use often when helping others . The ego is very powerful but who we are is stronger ,we just need to unlearn what we have be thought .
The mind see’s what it believes ,this is why we must work on our false beliefs .When fear is present the ego mind attacks our peace of mind .When we can understand what lies behind our fear we can strengthen the connection to our true selves .I honestly believe any great influencer or spiritual teacher of today is a student of the course . Each one taking some part of the message and sharing it with the people they want to help most .
A course in miracles finds you when you are ready . If this book has never found you then I am sure in some way its helped you through a situation in your life by someone else finding the course .We all have a your spiritual path and I believe I asked for mine to be shown and the course found me . While wanting to help people heal and live a happier life I there is a deep and life changing message in the course that I hope I can bring to help others .I am deep person so I can go deep in the message ,deep enough so I can understand more of its power in helping you. We all have a path ,none of us need to do the same thing but all all of us are looking for the same thing . More love ,less fear and a greater connection to our selves .
“The opposite of love is fear ,but what is all -encompassing can have no opposite . The course can therefore be summed up very simply in this way : ” Nothing real can be threatened ,Nothing unreal exists ” This is the course of miracles .
