Some tips to get you started on your self care routine

Hi all,

I hope your week has brought you some healing and insights on your journey towards listening to yourself and getting to know yourself more.
During my week I was brought back to the importance of self-care.

Like any healing journey we are on it is important to establish some self-care routines for yourself.
I begin my day with prayer, meditation, journaling and either listening to some self-help interviews or reading some self-help books.

This has been my morning practice for many years, and it works for me to begin my day on a positive note. When I don’t get to do these things for myself, I can feel my day not being as positive or productive as I would like it to be.
With any healing journey you undertake it is important to have self-care routines for yourself.

So how do you find what works for you ? ,Whatever practice or routines you develop need to be ones that uplift you, help you destress and nurture you soul. When you feel uplifted, at ease and have more relaxation within your body you are on the right path. Holding consistency in
implementing these practices and routines is important. Always with starting out something new you may find yourself being good for the first few weeks and then may find yourself slipping back into old habits. It is important to know the benefits that come for you when you hold your self-care practices or routine in place. In understanding the benefits to yourself is what helps you hold the consistency in following through on your healing journey. The self-care practices I have put into place over the years have benefited me in progressing forward in building resilience, healing, and learning to have more empathy and self-compassion for myself.
Self-care routines and practices help you bounce back quicker from any setbacks or challenges that may come your way on your journey towards
healing.

What self-care practices or routines will you begin to implement for yourself this week?

Understanding what self-care is for you is knowing what you are comfortable doing and what you enjoy doing to uplift your spirit and
bring positive out comes into you day and life. Would love to hear what your practices or routines you are going to do and how they make you feel after you have implemented them.
